For my Final Major Project I designed a book that used 'Glitch Art', alongside carefully selected and relevant quotes, in order to represent the everyday chaos in our lives. I took photographs of everyday situations which can be a source of chaos to a certain degree and edited them using various techniques.
I studied Glitch Art for several months leading up to this project and learned numerous different techniques in order to 'Glitch' images which such as converting images to sound files and altering them using audio editing software or even converting images to text files and editing them this way. I really enjoyed this project and I managed to really experiment with numerous programmes and techniques to reach my final outcomes.
As part of my experimentation with glitch art I also created a video with the glitched effect although this was not submitted as a final piece.
In the build up to my Final major project I experimented with numerous different programmes and techniques in order to create a Glitch effect, here are some of my outcomes from this research.
